Urban Tales

Jimmyinfrarouge

December 16 - 19, 2009

box office

Our third season of Urban Tales finds us fully
In the Land of Bienvenue (Yvan, that is)
Eight tales told by four
All from the man who first twisted Christmas
Around the urban dwell of his mind
Bent it just to see if it would break
Ho ho ho
- Harry Stanjofski

At any hour in the city there are love stories that taste of chocolate. There are children laughing into Time’s ear and Memories that well up and almost spill out of your heart. In the city there are elderly young people, rocking themselves all scruffy; their dangling piercings teeter-totter, running out of time in time with their biological grandfather clock. There are stories in the city that are really only just one more reason to say “I love you”: and in our hour of darkness why not prove it? Thanks to Harry for translating the words and to the actors for biting into them like they’re candy. And thank you for being here: I hope you have a great evening and even better hugs tonight… - Yvan Bienvenue
